WHAT IS A REAL ESTATE VALUATION REPORT?
The real estate valuation report is a mandatory report to protect foreign real estate buyers. On this page you can find information about the documents you will need to obtain a valuation report for your real estate and the mandatory valuation report.
Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Department of Foreign Affairs Circular dated 15.02.2019 With the Law, it has become mandatory to obtain a real estate appraisal report for the purchase and sale of immovable properties in Turkey by foreign real persons.
A real estate appraisal report will be required in all sales transactions in which foreigners are parties as both buyers and sellers, and the appraisal reports submitted to the Land Registry Office are valid until the transaction is completed, provided that they are applied for within 3 months from the date of issue.
It is an obligation for all foreign real estate buyers to obtain a real estate appraisal report, an appraisal report for foreigners to be used in foreign sales transactions.
The valuation report will include the following statistics :
- Authentic pictures
- Title deed information
- Location-based information
- Technical information and debt status provided by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre
- Price forecast as well as prices of similar properties nearby
There are Two Types of Valuation Reports in Turkey

Land investments, commercial investments, environmental investments, shopping center investments, construction investments, etc.
